Tofu that sticks to the grill?

There are a few tricks to make the tofu easily free from the grill (or a grilled pan).

  1. Use only extra or even super-company faculty tofu. And press the additional tofu to get rid of excess water.
  2. Use grilled oil and marinade.
  3. Do not try to move the tofu for several minutes, until the marks are formed and cooked enough on one side. This helps you freely free. Use a fork to make them slowly and carefully to release the tofu from the grill without tearing. Do not manage the tofu with tweezers, or can be undone and tear.

Should I press the tofu?

Yes, pressing the water from the Tofu blocks is a crucial step. Pressed tofu not only has a firmer and firmer texture, but also absorbs flavors more easily.

To press the tofu, use a tofu press or wrap each block on some paper towels, put a plate or pan on the top and put a couple of heavy books on top. The only way to avoid pressing tofu is to use the super firm variety in a vacuum package.

How long do you have to marinate the tofu?

I recommend marinating the tofu for at least 1 hour at room temperature or the fridge overnight. Basically, the longer marine, the tastier they will. Simply exceed the 24-hour mark, or the tofu will begin to crumble.

How long does it take on the tofu grill?

Depending on the thickness, cut the tofu, each piece should cook for about 5 to 7 minutes per side on the medium-high fire grilled. The tofu is grilled perfectly when you see golden brown marks.
